West Shore Technologies is an enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that has created SportsBoard, a patent-pending software solution based on the iPad and cloud technology that automates scouting/assessment processes for coaches at the collegiate, professional, high school and club levels of a variety of team sports.

Using the iPad as a digital replacement for the clipboard, SportsBoard enables coaches to collect assessment data about players with multiple iPads and then sync the data to servers in the cloud. SportsBoard then consolidates and synthesizes the data for sharing with, and review and analysis by the coaching staff.

SportsBoard streamlines tedious tasks involved with:

• Preparing for scouting events managing your handwritten notes from various games and practice sessions
• Translating the qualitative data about players' abilities into a measurable form
• Centralizing data gathered by multiple coaches on clipboards, and binders

SportsBoard ultimately facilitates data-driven decisions from analytics-based reports while saving time, reducing travel expenses, and eliminating unnecessary and time-consuming paper-driven processes.

Depending on the level, SportsBoard can be used for scouting players and opponents, assessing players at tryouts, and preparing and distributing pre-season, in-season and post-season evaluations.
