Basketball Scout Partners with End of the Trail and Mid-Summer Night Madness To Reach to Women's Basketball Coaching Community

Revolutionary iPad Scouting App will have player data for Five NCAA-Certified Events in July

Homewood, CA — May 14, 2012 — West Shore Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce partnerships with End of the Trail and Mid Summer Night Madness for their NCAA-certified girls' basketball tournaments in July. For End of the Trail, West Shore will have roster and player profile information at the All-Star and Music City Madness events. For Mid Summer Night Madness, West Shore will have roster and player profile information at the National, Pacific Coast and Western Championships events.

Having this data enables college coaches to use SportsBoard™ Basketball Scout, West Shore's patent-pending iPad scouting and assessment application, instead of printed packets normally used at recruiting events. With Basketball Scout, coaches can easily assess players they are watching digitally and capture shot chart and stat information, record text notes and voicememos, take photos and video, and even rate each player's ability, right on their iPad.

"We are very excited about this new partnership with SportsBoard," said Carl Tinsley, co-founder of End of the Trail. "Basketball Scout is revolutionizing recruiting in women's basketball – the iPad is the device of choice and Basketball Scout's features are simply ‘must-haves' in today's game."

Sam Lee, founder of Mid-Summer Night Madness, said, "Basketball Scout gives coaches the capability to easily and effectively evaluate prospective players from a single, efficient platform."
"College coaches have been looking for a single place to record, evaluate and locate all the assessment data for every prospective student athlete they see," he said.

Gregg Jacobs, founder and CEO of West Shore, said the alliances with End of the Trail and MSNM are the company's first significant partnerships for women's collegiate basketball coaches. "We are thrilled about having these partnerships and look forward to seeing many coaches using Basketball Scout this summer at these tournaments and others," Jacobs said.

SportsBoard Scout is also available for Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Rugby.
